February 2008 – Rough Guides Mobile now on Intel-based Mobile Internet Devices
The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was the venue chosen by Creativity Software to present a new version of its ‘Rough Guides Mobile’ application for the Intel-based Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs). October ‘07 – Creativity Software selected by BP for lone worker protection pilot
BP Have selected Creativity Software after a global search & bid process, to deliver a pilot programme aimed at helping BP exercise their duty of care to lone workers in North America. October ‘07 – National Monitoring selects Creativity Software to deliver an Asset Tracking solutions
The UK-based company specialising in providing real time monitoring solutions has chosen Creativity Software over many other vendors to provide a LBS asset tracking solution. This solution employs both GPS & GSM data to help manage valuable assets within a secure environment. It illustrates the breadth of opportunity for Location Based Services, as well as the flexibility and robust nature of the Creativity Software LBS platform.

October ‘07 – Creativity Software Ltd. has announced the appointment of TechTel21 Ltd. as its official value added distributor for the Middle East region
With its headquarters in Bahrain and offices in United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, TechTel provides ICT solutions for a variety of industries throughout the Middle East region. September ‘07 – Intel has invited Creativity Software to be part of its ecosystem of application developers for their Mobile Internet Devices, a.k.a. MID. Creativity Software have been selected as the single supplier of Location Based Services. In addition to adapting the existing Rough Guides Mobile application for this new type of devices, Creativity Software will be enhancing the application with LBS functionality, e.g. “Find Nearest”, “What’s Near Me”, etc. The plans have been revealed at the Intel Developers Forum in San Francisco earlier in the month. August ‘07 – Rough Guides Mobile experience increased usage due to Eurotariff
Creativity Software has reported increased usage of its Rough Guides Mobile application. This comes at the same time as the new European Roaming Regulation comes into force, reducing mobile roaming charges by up to 70% in some cases. Read article.

June ‘07 –Transport For London (TFL) deploys Creativity Software’s FamilyWise white label solution.
Creativity Software Ltd. has announced that Transport for London has taken its FamilyWise white label solution to provide a child locator service. This is one of the key ingredients of the Upgrade7 InTouch campaign that Transport for London has recently launched in an effort to give confidence to parents to send their children to school using public transport.
